BPL Medical Technologies Impresses with a Futuristic Imaging Portfolio at IRIA 2026

India, 16 February 2026: BPL Medical Technologies, one of India’s leading medical technology companies, has made a strong impact at the 78th Annual Conference of the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association (IRIA 2026), that was held from 29 January to 1 February 2026 at HITEX, Hyderabad.

With one of the largest and most prominent stalls at the conference, BPL MedTech showcased a broad, future-ready portfolio spanning mobility-led imaging, preventive diagnostics, women’s health, and advanced cross-sectional modalities. The presentation was a compelling demonstration of the company’s continued focus on combining clinical performance, intelligent automation, and workflow efficiency across the radiology ecosystem.

Visitors to the BPL MedTech booth experienced solutions designed to support point-of-care imaging, bone health assessment, breast cancer imaging, CT and MRI systems and enhanced AI-enabled diagnostic systems aimed at improving diagnostic confidence and operational efficiency.

Acquisitions & Partnerships

BPL Medical Technologies formally announced the acquisition of Yozma BMTech Co., Ltd., a South Korea-based organization, marking its entry into the bone densitometry segment. Through this acquisition, the company will now offer DEXA (Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry) systems, thereby strengthening its presence in osteoporosis screening and bone health diagnostics.

Building on this expansion, BPL Medical Technologies further announced its entry into the CT and MRI segment through a strategic partnership with Wandong Medical (WDM), bringing global imaging expertise closer to Indian radiology practices.

Additionally, BPL Medical Technologies unveiled BPL Cortex RADS AI, developed in partnership with 5C Network. Cortex RADS AI integrates artificial intelligence directly within imaging workflows, reflecting the company’s strategy of combining its hardware capabilities with intelligent software ecosystems to support radiologists in high-volume clinical environments.

Further strengthening in the women’s health imaging segment, BPL MedTech showcased the Lilac Mammography System, engineered to support high-resolution breast imaging and early cancer detection. Together with the addition of DEXA systems, the mammography platform reinforces the company’s commitment to preventive and diagnostic solutions tailored to women’s healthcare needs.

Commenting on the same, Dr. Shravan Subramanyam, Managing Director, BPL Medical Technologies shared, “IRIA 2026 represents a pivotal milestone for BPL Medical Technologies. This year, we not just showcased individual technologies, but presented a holistic vision for radiology—one that spans mobility, preventive screening, women’s health, advanced imaging, and intelligent workflows. Along with important strategic announcements, our presence at IRIA reflects how BPL MedTech is building a connected, future-ready ecosystem for clinicians and healthcare providers.”

On-Ground Engagement

Beyond portfolio expansions, BPL Medical Technologies also announced its collaboration with G.I.R.S to work towards structured clinical training, research, and knowledge dissemination in Interventional radiology. With the larger goal of supporting clinicians and improving patient outcomes, this collaboration marks the coming together of purpose, people, and progress.

One of the key attractions at the BPL MedTech booth was an interactive robot named “Ria” that engaged visitors through live, topic-focused knowledge sessions. Through engaging presentations and Q&A interactions, Ria addressed some of the key areas shaping modern radiology, including imaging for women’s wellness, AI-led diagnostics, musculoskeletal applications, elastography, and advanced CT/MRI practices, offering visitors a unique, immersive learning experience.

Throughout the four-day conference, attendees had the opportunity to engage in live USG demonstrations, interact with decision makers & experts, and explore how BPL’s integrated approach is shaping the next phase of imaging and diagnostics in India.
